United Airlines Business Class Boeing 787-9

You will be on United’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, equipped with 48 of its trademark Polaris Business Class seats in a staggered 1-2-1 layout. These seats alternate between closer to the aisle and closer to the window. If you prefer privacy, we would recommend the seats in odd-numbered rows (window), while if you do get claustrophobic, we recommend the even-numbered rows (aisle). For couples, we would recommend middle seats D & F in odd-numbered rows. Rows 9-12 are in a smaller mini-cabin – this may feel like a more intimate setting.

You can expect very comfortable bedding, including a duvet and mattress pad (on request), as well as a solid amenity kit. The food and beverage offering is solid without being spectacular, although we highly recommend getting an ice cream sundae.
