Malaysia Airlines Business Class Airbus A330-300

You will be on one of Malaysian Airlines’ long-haul A330-300s, equipped with 27 Business Class seats in a slightly unusual 1-2-1, 1-2-2 alternating configuration. For maximum privacy and storage space, we would recommend the throne seats 1K, 3K and 6K, although when travelling with someone else you may find the centre seat pairs, or seats H & K in rows 2, 5 and 7 more convenient.

On board, you will experience traditional Malaysian hospitality, with an extensive meal service including their famous satay skewers. Note that Malaysian doesn’t provide pyjamas in Business Class, although you will receive an amenity kit on your flight.

Qantas (Finnair) Business Class Airbus A330-300

You will be taking to the skies on a Finnair A330 in Business class. This service is operated by Qantas using Finnair flight crew, the airport experience is solely operated by Qantas and won’t differ from any typical Qantas flight.

On this flight, you will be greeted with 28 unique Finnair business class seats which lack recline. Rest assured, this seat is still a very comfortable and spacious product and can transform into a fully flat bed when it comes time for rest. Couples would best be seated in adjoining middle seats D & H with solo travellers best seated in window seats A & L.

You will receive the familiar Qantas catering service, designed by highly acclaimed Australian chef Neil Perry. This is to pair with an extensive beverage list containing some of the finest Australian wines. Waiting at your seat will be a pillow, blanket, amenities kit and a pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-800

Malaysia Airlines’ Boeing 737 business class features recliner-type seats in a two-by-two layout. The seats offer generous recline (42 inches) and the tray tables in Business Class are stored within the armrest, and there’s a shared cocktail table in the middle. Seats have a USB charge and IFE screen.

As expected, complimentary food and beverage options are available.
