Lounge Experience

Learn more about the available lounges.

Qantas First Lounge Sydney

At Sydney Airport, you'll be able to access arguably the best lounge in Qantas' network, and possibly the best lounge in the Southern Hemisphere. The Qantas First Lounge is world-renowned for its sweeping airport views and restaurant-quality food.

After walking past the signature greenery wall, you will have a choice of a large variety of seating options, all divided by large wooden beams. The ends of the lounge tend to be the quietest, while the restaurant is situated about halfway between the entrance and the spa end of the lounge. Note that power outlets are not super plentiful, although there are business desks, printers and meeting rooms available if you need to work.

The dining is the highlight of the lounge, with menus curated by Neil Perry of Rockpool fame. You'll find lounge favourites such as the salt and pepper squid and the deconstructed pavlova served alongside other seasonal dishes. There is also a fully staffed bar, serving a vast selection of beverages.

There are also complimentary spa treatments available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can enquire about these at the front desk.

Aspire Lounge Johannesburg

Departing Johannesburg, you'll have access to the Aspire Lounge.

This lounge is a perfectly pleasant space to spend an hour or two prior to your flight. There is a selection of cold and warm food served via a buffet, accompanied by self-serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

There's a variety of seating, from armchairs to lounge couches, as well as tables more suited for dining.

You'll also find a few shower suites and modern bathrooms available.
