Cathay Pacific Business Class Airbus A350

You will experience Cathay Pacific’s flagship A350, equipped with reverse herringbone seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. These seats all convert to a fully lie-flat bed, and are spacious, with plenty of storage. You’ll also find a thick blanket and bedding at your seat, as well as a functional amenity kit.

We would recommend choosing a pair of middle seats if you wish to sit next to a travelling companion, while if you would prefer to sit solo, a window seat provides extra privacy. You’ll find a USB-A and universal power outlet, along with an 18-inch touchscreen display – all A350s are Wi-Fi equipped.

Onboard you can expect multiple meals, with a menu provided to choose from – we would highly recommend the Asian options, as catering is much better when choosing local foods.

Qantas Business Class Boeing 737-800

You’re booked to fly on a Qantas Boeing 737-800 in Business class. This aircraft features recliner seats in a 2-2 configuration. These seats are sufficient for a short flight – we would recommend row 2 as the bulkhead in Row 1 means you cannot store anything at your seat. Despite the short duration, you can expect to enjoy a hot meal and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages regardless of the time of day you are flying.

Finnair Business Class Airbus A350-900

You are booked to fly on a Finnair Airbus A350-900, arranged in a 1-2-1 layout with lie-flat beds. We recommend mid-cabin seats to avoid any disturbance from the galley or toilet areas. Seats D & H are best suited towards couples with window seats A & L best for solo travellers. The curved high backrest provides extra privacy and while Finnair does not provide pyjamas, they supply good quality bedding, cushions and an amenity kit. On board, you will experience signature Finnish service and dining.

Malaysia Airlines Business Class Airbus A330-300

You will be on one of Malaysian Airlines’ long-haul A330-300s, equipped with 27 Business Class seats in a slightly unusual 1-2-1, 1-2-2 alternating configuration. For maximum privacy and storage space, we would recommend the throne seats 1K, 3K and 6K, although when travelling with someone else you may find the centre seat pairs, or seats H & K in rows 2, 5 and 7 more convenient.

On board, you will experience traditional Malaysian hospitality, with an extensive meal service including their famous satay skewers. Note that Malaysian doesn’t provide pyjamas in Business Class, although you will receive an amenity kit on your flight.

Japan Airlines Business Class Boeing 787-8 (APEX)

You will be travelling aboard a Japan Airlines' 787-9, with its renowned Apex suites in Business Class. Each seat boasts direct aisle access, ensuring convenience and comfort throughout your journey. The cabin layout features a 2-2-2 configuration with the option to lower the partition between pairs of seats for added privacy or to socialise with your seat companion.

Personal storage is fairly limited with access to a single major compartment underneath the footwell. You can anticipate exemplary service and exquisite dining options, particularly the Japanese cuisine options.

Finnair’s E190s feature 100 seats in a 2-2 configuration. Seats have 31″ of pitch and 18″ of width. Pillows and blankets are available on request.

Expect a hot towel, a hot meal, as well as complimentary beverages.
